Curriculum Policy: Overall
1. In order to acquire the seven abilities listed in the Diploma Policy, the curriculum consists of general courses and specialized subjects. In the lower grades, an emphasis is placed on the acquisition of general subjects, and a five-year integrated curriculum is organized in the form of a wedge-shaped curriculum that emphasizes specialized subjects as the grades progress. The content of education shall be determined for each department in accordance with the "basic abilities," "specialized skills by field," and "cross-disciplinary abilities" listed in the MCC. We will strive to improve the content and methods of education through collaboration among faculty members and FD(Faculty Development)/SD (Staff Development) activities. In addition, the curriculum will be regularly reviewed in accordance with technological advances to ensure that the latest knowledge is reflected.
2. A large number of courses that incorporate PBL (Project Based Learning) are arranged to help students acquire an attitude of independent learning in order to solve problems.
3. Emphasis is placed on experiments, practical training, and exercises, and students acquire the ability to apply and put into practice the knowledge learned in the classroom.
4. Incorporate practical education that can be used in collaboration with local communities, companies, etc.
5. We will enhance programs such as internships to provide opportunities for students to develop their individual qualities and abilities, which will lead to career paths.
