"Choose your college" initiative in Beheira

The participation of Misr International Technological University in the Beheira Governorate initiative under the title "Choose your college" organized by the governorate in light of the directives of His Excellency Mr. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi - President of the Republic, on the necessity of promoting different colleges according to the need for work and encouraging high school students and parents to join those applied colleges Unfamiliar, and with the participation of 15 public and private universities to educate high school students about the nature of colleges and their available departments and the different fields they qualify for.
Where the university presented a detailed presentation on technological education and the mission of technological universities in Egypt and presented the capabilities of Misr Technological University in terms of laboratories, workshops, equipment, supplies and infrastructure, study programs that keep pace with the labor market, and all inquiries that were made by students, parents, media professionals and the audience were answered. The presentation is a group of faculty members and students from Cairo College of Technology. Mrs. Dr. Deputy Governor thanked and appreciated Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hosni Al-Hewy, Secretary of the Education Development Fund affiliated to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, for his support for the initiative for the second year in a row, and praised the participating delegation from the university.
And as a continuation of the great echo achieved by the "Choose Your College 1" seminar series organized by the governorate last year and its positive impact on students, under the auspices of Dr. Nihal Balbaa - Deputy Governor of Buhaira. And that during the period from 6 to 8 August 2023 at exactly ten o’clock in the morning in the Great Hall of the Damanhour Cultural Complex, in order to shed light on the nature of the different faculties and their available departments and the different fields they qualify for, with the aim of educating and educating high school students who completed this year’s exams and their parents and explaining the criteria The basis on which students choose their colleges. Where approximately 1400 male and female students attended.
Al-Buhaira Governorate appeals to its sons and daughters from high school students to participate in these seminars to benefit from them in choosing the appropriate college for them, as higher education is an important pivotal stage in the cognitive development of students and contributes significantly to economic growth and development by promoting innovation and skills development. To improve the quality of life and address major social and global challenges, which is one of the main drivers of growth, prosperity and competitiveness of countries.
