The Education Development Fund of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, represented by Professor Dr. Ahmed Hosni Al-Hewy, Secretary-General of the Fund, signed a cooperation protocol with Alexandria University, represented by Professor Dr. Abdel Aziz Qanswa, President of the University.

The signing of the protocol was attended by Counselor Mohamed Ibrahim, the Fund’s legal advisor, Dr. Mohamed Badawi, Dean of the Faculty of Technology in Cairo, Dr. Islam Hilali, Dean of the Faculty of Technology in Fayoum, Dr. Ahmed Saad, Dean of the Egyptian German College in Assiut, Dr. Omaima Nabil, Assistant Secretary-General of the Fund, Mr. Abdel Majeed Mohamed Abdel Majeed, the Fund’s Financial and Administrative Director, Mr. Mustafa Ahmed, Secretary General of the University of Technology, and from Alexandria University Dr. Saeed Allam, Vice President of the University for Community Service Affairs, Dr. Walid Al-Barqi, Vice Dean of the College of Engineering for Community Service and Director of the Engineering Center, Dr. Abdul Aziz Amara, Director of the Center for Faculty Development.

Dr. said. Ahmed Al-Hewy, Secretary-General of the Fund, said that the protocol aims to find an appropriate framework through which to facilitate cooperation between Alexandria University and the Education Development Fund in the fields of engineering consultation and training of faculty members and the administrative staff of Misr International Technological University, which is supervised by the Fund.

He added in the press release issued by the Fund that the protocol includes Alexandria University, through its Faculty and Leadership Capacity Development Center, identifying the training needs of faculty members and the administrative staff at Misr International Technological University, which is affiliated with the Fund, or any other party determined by the Education Development Fund. The university is also committed, through the experts of the University’s Faculty and Leadership Capacity Development Center, to design training programs that meet the training needs to raise the efficiency of trainees at Misr International Technological University or any other body determined by the Fund.

Al-Hewy explained that the protocol comes from the Fund’s keenness to raise the efficiency of faculty members and raise the quality of education at Misr International Technological University, which includes three technological colleges: Cairo Technological College, Fayoum Technological College, and the Egyptian German College in Assiut. The university also includes five technical schools. .

Dr. noted. Ahmed Al-Hewy, pointed out that the Education Development Fund has the right under this protocol to benefit from the expertise of the Engineering Center for Public Service at the Faculty of Engineering of Alexandria University, in the field of engineering consultation, design, or permanent or periodic supervision, as the case may be, of the operations assigned by the Fund or on its behalf in any of the following: Stated according to what is agreed upon between the two parties in each individual transaction.
