Students from Misr International Technological University achieved first place in industrial innovations.

Students from the International Egyptian University of Technology, which is overseen by the Education Development Fund under the Prime Minister's Office, won first place in industrial innovations during the Technological University Students Week. The event took place at the Youth City in Abu Qir, Alexandria, from September 17 to 21, with the participation of 600 students from 10 technological universities, along with nearly 1,000 visitors, including experts in technological education and industry professionals.

Dr. Rasha Saad Sharaf, Secretary-General of the Education Development Fund, which is affiliated with the Prime Minister's Office, said that students from the International Egyptian University of Technology, one of the Fund's projects, won first place in industrial innovations. The students presented a model of an electric "Golf" car they produced.

She added, in a press release issued by the Fund, that Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, expressed his appreciation for the students' efforts and took a tour of the sports city, driving the car produced by the students. In this context, he emphasized the importance of focusing on the finishing stages and the aesthetic presentation of industrial products, not just the technological aspect of the educational innovations produced by the students.

Sharaf explained that the Minister of Higher Education was keen to speak with and encourage the students, advising them to focus on developing entrepreneurial and marketing skills, which will help create products that meet the needs of the Egyptian, regional, and international markets, and attract the industry to adopt these innovations so they can transition from mere prototypes to actual production that benefits the Egyptian and regional markets.
