Dr. Ahmed Hosni Al-Hewy, Secretary-General of the Education Development Fund of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, announced the completion of the preparations of Misr International Technological University, which is supervised by the Fund, to receive students for the second semester, which begins on February 11.
Al-Bayyawi said, in a statement, that Misr International Technological University, which is supervised by the Education Development Fund, has actually finished preparing study schedules for the second semester in all faculties affiliated with the university in Cairo, Fayoum and Assiut, indicating that the electricity room has been repaired and raised in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization. In the College of Technology in Cairo, the new computer lab in the college was also equipped, as well as the installation of a mechanical lift for cars in the car workshop with funding from the Korean side, as well as the rehabilitation, cultivation and beautification of the headquarters of the University and the College of Technology in Cairo in cooperation with the Cleaning and Beautification Authority in Cairo Governorate, and a lecture hall was also equipped new for students.
Al-Hewy explained that the Faculty of Technology in Fayoum has completed its full readiness to receive students, as full maintenance has been carried out for all stands, classrooms, workshops and laboratories, and for the Egyptian German College of Technology in Assiut, the construction work of the new college building has been completed completely, and the electrical current in the building has been turned on. The work of equipment and laboratory furnishings is being completed, and all the workshops and laboratories in the college are equipped with the latest machines and devices that enable the college to achieve the university’s mission by supplying the Egyptian and international labor market with trained and qualified technicians according to the latest international standards according to the latest technological systems.
It is worth noting that Misr International Technological University is one of the projects of the Education Development Fund, which is a continuation of the technology parks project established by the Fund in the Amiriya Complex, Fayoum, Assiut and Abu Ghalib. The Prime Minister issued Decree No. 2722 of 2022 to establish the university as an independent body based in the Amiriya Complex for Technology Education in Cairo. It is supervised by the Education Development Fund until its administrative structure is completed and is subject to the Ministry of Higher Education as a technological university that achieves added value to the Egyptian technological universities established by the Ministry of Higher Education.
