Misr Technological University students participate with 5 projects in the Cairo Innovation Fair

Misr International Technological University, one of the projects of the Education Development Fund of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, participated in the Seventh Cairo International Innovation Fair 2023, which was held at Al-Massa Hotel in the Administrative Capital under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and in the presence of a number of ministers, governors, leaders of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and a number One of the presidents of public, private and technological universities.

Ahmed Hosni Al-Hewy, Secretary General of the Education Development Fund of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, said that the participation of Misr International Technological University in the exhibition was represented by the three faculties of the university, which are the Egyptian German College of Technology in Assiut, the College of Industry and Energy in Cairo, and the College of Industry and Energy in Fayoum, where the three colleges participated. In the press release issued by the fund, he added that the university students presented a number of projects, namely the solar cell cleaning robot project, the plastic crusher project, the gas leak monitoring project, in addition to the production line project and the smart train project.

Al-Hewy pointed out that Misr International Technological University affiliated to the Education Development Fund is one of the technological universities that were established during the recent period, and is considered a nucleus for technological education in Egypt, which comes within the framework of Egypt's interest in supporting the path of innovation and technology development. As a modern and important tributary in the paths of higher education in Egypt, as it aims to provide well-trained technical cadres to join the labor market.

The Secretary-General of the Education Development Fund noted that the 7th Cairo International Innovation Fair 2023, in which the State of Portugal participates as a guest of honor at the exhibition this year, the Science, Technology and Innovation Finance Authority (STDF) as a strategic partner and the United Institute for Nuclear Sciences in the Russian Federation, and the exhibition witnesses the participation of a number of ministers and statesmen. And investors, businessmen, banks and civil society organizations, in addition to displaying hundreds of innovations and inventions from Egypt, Africa and Arab countries, and in the presence of thousands of visitors accused of science, technology and innovation.
