Dr. Rasha Saad Sharaf, the Secretary-General of the Education Development Fund affiliated with the Cabinet, met with a delegation from the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, led by Engineer Mohamed Reda Fawzi, Director of the Research, Documentation, and Knowledge Development Department, along with Dr. Abdullah Amara, a researcher in the same department, to discuss signing a cooperation protocol for the "Alpha Generation Kindergarten" project partnership.

The Secretary-General of the Fund explained that the meeting was part of the implementation of a decision by the Board of Directors of the Education Development Fund, chaired by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, to begin implementing the "Alpha Generation Kindergarten" project. This project, approved in the last board meeting, aims to build the capacities of children and prepare them for primary education, in line with the political leadership’s vision to build an advanced, integrated society starting with the focus on children.

In a press statement released by the Fund, she added that the meeting with the Arab Council for Childhood and Development’s delegation included a review of the main features, components, and goals of the project. Discussions were held regarding cooperation mechanisms, paving the way for the signing of the partnership protocol for the project. The meeting also involved a discussion of all the terms and details of the protocol, which will be presented to the relevant authorities for signing.

Quality of Education in Kindergarten

Dr. Sharaf clarified that the Prime Minister emphasized the need for coordination with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education to ensure that the cooperation protocol between the Fund and the Childhood Council aligns with the Ministry’s strategy to provide better opportunities for quality education in the kindergarten stage. This is a crucial phase for shaping the child’s awareness and personality, ensuring their preparation for primary education in a more efficient and professional manner.

The Secretary-General of the Education Development Fund also mentioned that the meeting was followed by a field visit with members of the administrative team, technical office, and engineering administration of the Fund to the Early Childhood Development Center in the Educational City in Sixth of October, "Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Kindergarten," to assess the material and human development requirements to make it the national model for the "Alpha Generation" kindergartens.
